Washing your lingerie
Let's be honest, lingerie can be expensive (especially if you're like me and own a lot!). I'm almost certain that you don't want to waste your money, so it is important that you remember to care for your lingerie and wash it correctly.
Your lingerie will usually come care instructions on the tags, each piece can be slightly different so always double-check to ensure your caring for your pieces appropriately.
There are some general rules on caring for your lingerie which can be used across the types of lingerie, including babydolls, bodysuits, bra and underwear sets and shapewear.
Washing your lingerie
Hand wash your garments using laundry detergent without enzymes
Use warm water, never hot
Wash pieces separately to avoid colour transfer
Dab stains and avoid rubbing
If using a delicate cycle in your washing machine, always put garments in a laundry bag
Ensure bras are hooked together to avoid snagging on anything
Drying your lingerie
Do not wring out or tumble dry
Dry pieces flat and avoid sunlight
Also, remember to avoid ironing your garments at all costs! An iron can be fatal to your lingerie.
